When I was in high school, I went through Confirmation and was told I would be a soldier of god. This is my interpretation of that.
The Rapture has occurred and as a soldier of God I was given the option of being taken back to the almighty kingdom of heaven along with all others who were Raptured or remain on Earth to bring others to the light of God.
I am a soldier of God and I chose to return to Earth and this is my story.
I believed my return would be grand spectacle of lights and angels and pyrotechnics that ushered my arrival as a soldier of God.
But there was nothing like that.
Instead I awoke on the floor of an apartment. It was actually a really dirty floor that smelled of cat urine and stale cigarettes.
I've woken up on a floor like that myself. Different circumstances. Hey, Philip, welcome to the blogosphere. I hope you can stick with your resolution better than I'm doing with my fitness one!
